With a national debt that is nearly $13 trillion and climbing daily, our federal government can best be characterized by the Four B’s: Big, Bad, Broken and Broke. Instead of focusing on our crippled economy and putting millions of our unemployed citizens back to work, the career politicians continue to expand the bureaucracy with more federal programs, more federal mandates and more federal regulation. The “we know best” philosophy of big government will continue unless the culture of Washington itself changes. The tax and spend ways of government will not change if we continue to send the same politicians that caused the problem, down to Washington to try and fix it. It is time for new leadership.
